Symmetrical Balance
BackgroundVisual symmetry is a balance between weight and shapes within the scene. Strictly speaking symmetry suggest what you see on one side is roughly equivalent to the other side.
Symmetry suggests that one side of the image is a mirror image of the other. Symmetry is often used to establish balance in an image. The danger is thermometer design with everything centered in the middle of the page.
