There are many different approaches/tools that can act as a platform for your final presentation. What follows is not an exhaustive list of approaches, so don’t feel tied to any of these tools listed here:

Screen capture software will allow you want to record the screen of the computer and often your voice as a video:
Voice OverHearing your voice in the presentation is nice but totally optional. If you don’t use voice over to mediate your presentation then realize you have to do a better job with the textual descriptions (e.g. web site). Some presentation tools make adding voice over easy others don't support it at all so explore the features of the presentation tool.

Learning ApproachesPresentations are communication technique for sharing a message. A good presentation can be entertaining, engaging, and convincing. A poor presentation can put people to sleep.
Videos as PresentationsCertainly one can use videos as effective presentation tools. Here is a partial list of tools:
Caveats - PreziFor those considering Prezi, if you want voice over (at least the last time I checked), you have to create the audio in a program like Audacity (free Mac and Windows) or Garageband (Mac) and then upload the audio file to Prezi. The idea is to record your voice in the audio program and then save it out in one of these audio file formats: MP3, M4A, FLAC, WMA, WAV, OGG, AAC, 3GP. Then in Prezi select upload voice over and upload your audio file.
